Regular Fire Extinguisher Servicing is a requirement of the Fire Safety Order. The British Standard Code of Practice BS 5306 Part 3 states that your fire extinguishers need to be serviced at least every 12 months to ensure that the extinguishers are safe and will function in the event of a fire.

We will test the pressure and all of the components.

When completed we will fix an Inspection label to the extinguisher recording the date, weight, next service date and date of discharge or overhaul test.

We will also issue a printed Certificate listing the extinguishers and confirming that they conform to the requirements – this Certificate is valid for 12 months.
